How do I create a sort of explanatory post that will appear always on my page?
There is the facility to write a really brief sentence to appear under the title of my blog, but I was wondering if it is possible to write a first blog post – a longer paragraph, for example – and have it appear in front/at the top of every subsequent post. That way, when people come in a read a post a month after I have started, they will know from that page what is going on. Does that make sense?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Why not write something on your “About” page? That way your readers could find out about you, it could be as long as you like with as many details as you want. Easy for all to find, and easily accessible.

Or you could write a post and make it sticky:

But you wouldn’t want to make it very long. Remember that readers come to your site for the latest news, most recent posts and not to read the same thing over and over. If your sticky post is long then regular readers will have to scroll down in order to see what’s new.
