First post excerpt not working

  Hi there!

  I’ve just started my blog and like the excerpt way of showing my posts. This worked for my second post, but not for my first, as it still shows the default message of “This is the excerpt for your very first post.” I’ve tried clicking on “edit” to change it, but it just takes me to the entire post instead of just an excerpt. Is there a way to fix this?

  The first post has a custom excerpt, which you’ll need to remove for the automatic one to kick in.

  Open the “More Options” panel to find the manual excerpt and remove it:

  Excerpts

  Hey! It worked! I just had to fine the excerpt and delete everything, leaving it blank. Thanks!
