First post shows up after my second?

I just published my second post, and when I went to read my blog, my first post appears under the new one. Did I do something wrong? i assumed that each post would be discreet, not become one scrawling over-long page. Help please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The main site page is set up to display the number of posts you have set at settings > reading, and then at the bottom of the main page will be a link to display older posts. If you want your site to only show one post per page, go to settings > reading and change the number and then save the changes.
Blog posts display in reverse chronological order with the latest always on top and then the ones underneath it successively older.
To get to the single post page for each post, you either click on the post title, or on the “comments” link.

You have just become twice as “sacred” in my book. :} Thank you for a simple answer not what I feared was going to be either an unexecutable (for me, at least), or really complicated (read frustrating) one. Muchos gratias. You are my savior. I’m so closeto actually getting this thing working that I thought I had reached yet another insurmountable hurdle. :}
