    I received the below email from supposedly WP. I have been hacked in the past and want to make sure this email is really from WP. The email address it came from is (email visible only to moderators and staff) Pls let me know if this is a legitimate WP email. Thanks, Martie

    We tried to renew your services but the payment failed.
    Our billing system  simply go to our site, and use the renewal command.

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I can see how a message like that would be concerning. Based on what you described, it appears to be a phishing email, and it’s safe to ignore and delete it. Official messages from WordPress.com will always reflect accurate account details.

    I also noticed your site is using the Affinity theme, which is now retired. While it will continue to work, retired themes no longer receive updates or new features. Over time, this can lead to compatibility issues with newer tools on WordPress.com. To keep your site up to date and running smoothly, you might consider switching to a current theme.
