    When may I post again

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no such limit here at WordPress.COM and that’s why I don’t understand what you are referring to. Please provide the URL for the blog in question in the form of an active link starting with http://

Also, given your make money style username I think you may benefit from reading read what follows.

No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.com blogs. The only blogs that can be equipped for ecommerce are those with the $299. per year business upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/

The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.

    http://en.wordpress.com/apply-for-wordads/

Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed.
    http://support.wordpress.com/advertising/ Here’s what gets a blog suspended:

    re: affiliate links
    1. WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.

    2. Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.

“Make money style user name”? What on earth are you talking about? “Earndoggy” is nothing more than a nickname I have had for decades. Why would you possibly think that I was making money? Good heavens, why so hostile? I simply asked a question. I wrote a blog, hit publish, and it said I had five posts and it could not publish at that time. I deleted my first post and then the current post published. I am sorry, but I do not know how to do an http link. I do not understand why you are being so rude. I am not advertising ANYTHING! I have done nothing more than share posts to Facebook pages. Can you please refer this topic to someone who can help me rather than chastise me? Thank you.

    I was not being rude.
    I am not hostile.
    I was not chastising you.
    You are overreacting.

I have answered questions here for over 8 years and it’s considerable experience that has taught me that any usernames with “earn” or “money” words in them tend to be registered by make money bloggers, who may not know our terms of service and policies here.

I wrote a blog, hit publish, and it said I had five posts and it could not publish at that time. I deleted my first post and then the current post published.

Are you referring to your own blog that you registered under your username account?

Or are you referring to a blog that another blogger made you an official contributor to? http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#contributor

Sometimes bloggers actually demote themselves on their own blogs from Admin to Contributor by accident.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I have been able to post today without problems, so I am at a loss as to what that error message was. Thanks for the info about the words earn and money in user names. I never would have even thought of that, I’ve been Earndoggy for so long it’s almost the same as my given name. Thanks again :)

I had no intention of offending you and I am so glad you know that now. I have no idea what went wrong and why it is working now. I will cross my fingers for you. Best wishes with your blog.

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m glad you didn’t mean to either. I enjoy making new friends. :) Sorry I misunderstood. This is a lot of fun, even when it gets frustrating because I can’t figure something out. It’s a good site. Do you have specific blogs? I’m still learning how to navigate around here. N00b doesn’t even begin to describe it lol!

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a blogging tips blog linked to my username at http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com and I have a personal blog at http://thistimethisspace.com

If you go to these index pages you may find what I published to be helpful:
    http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/basic-blogging/
    http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/popular-posts/

At present I am not well so I am not blogging on either site frequently. I may close both blogs in the near future, though I have paid for a year of upgrades for each one.

Oh, I’m sorry you’re not well. I can empathize, I have fibromyalgia and completely understand!

  • Unknown's avatar

Another fibromyalgia person (high five – not that it is
anything to cheer about as we will be taking it with us to the grave. The fibromyalgia is the least of my medical issues these days. I now have two other conditions (heart and asthma) that are more serious and frankly I could be a blogging burnout. After almost 10 years I am waffling but it could be that I have had enough.

  • Unknown's avatar

Lol!! It is good to find kindred spirits! I am coming to believe that having fibromyalgia weakens our bodies so that a host of other ailments beset us. I honestly can’t even think of anyone I know who has it that doesn’t have other chronic and life threatening problems, including cancer. It’s just nuts.
