Fix Alignment of Featured Posts on Front Page

  • Unknown's avatar

We’re using the Proxima Child theme and it has a built in featured posts widget we have on our front page, displaying 6 posts from a certain category. I added a new blog post and now the alignment is messed up. Three are aligned on the top, 2 in on the second row, and then 1 in a third row, when it should just be two rows of three. I know this can be fixed with CSS customization, but I don’t know how to fix it. Any help is appreciated!

  • Hi there!

I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
