  Exactly what do you mean by “fix”?
  What are you trying to accomplish please?

  Have you located the Gridspace detailed theme description page with set up instructions?

  Custom Background
  Visit the Appearance -> Background or the Appearance -> Customize link to change background colors or upload your own custom background image. Here is more info on adding custom backgrounds. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-backgrounds/

  Hi there, to fix the background image in Gridspace so that it does not scroll with the content, go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS.

  body.custom-background {
      background-attachment: fixed;
  }
