Fix Invalid RSS Feed
-
When attempting to make my blog a Feedburner feed, it told me “We could not find a valid feed at that address.”
I clicked on the feed validator and it gave me this message:
“This feed does not validate.
Server returned HTTP Error 404: Not FoundIn addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendation.
line 28, column 150: Unregistered link relationship: search”Here’s the link so you can see the code it wants me to edit: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3a%2f%2fthisismorningblog.wordpress.com%2ffeed%2f.
My question is – how do I edit the code? I can’t find where I’m supposed to be able to change what it wants me to. Thank you!

So far I’m finding that I CAN’T edit the code because I’m on WordPress.com and have not paid for an upgrade. I don’t want to buy the customization upgrade because I don’t need it. Should my feeds work without purchasing that? How can I get someone to fix this for me? I can’t find any way to contact anyone at WordPress except for the forums. -___-

The reason you don’t have a feed is, you don’t have any posts; you only have static pages. Make some posts and problem solved.

Ugh. Thank you. I didn’t realize you had to post in order for it to even be found. I wasn’t to the posting point yet – just getting everything up and organized.

No worries. In my experience, the sooner you get posting, even badly, the better. The internet waits for no woman.
