Fix Missing required field “updated”
-
I know the solution to this but in order to fix this on my blog hosted by WordPress I have to pay to upgrade – using a feature only available in the upgrade that allows me to customize the CSS for my current theme. As far as I can tell, this is the only solution I have found. Is there a way around this so that way Google’s Webmaster Tools can fully crawl through my pages without errors? This feels like a silly single thing to pay for an upgrade for.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As I’m not clear on what you mean I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there!
Could you please clarify on what crawl errors you’re receiving in Google Webmaster Tools? Please paste them here so I can have a look. I’m fairly certain that the Custom Design upgrade won’t help in clearing those errors. Looking forward to your reply!

In the following section:
Structured Data > hatom (markup: microformats.org)
Status: 5/23/14Every single post – some more than others – is returning the error “Missing: updated”.

Hi there! I’ve asked our developers to have a look at the issue and I’ll be sure to get back to you when I hear from them. Thanks for your patience!

Hi there!
Unfortunately, I learned that adherence to Google’s Structured Data is something we don’t particularly support in our themes at the moment. Sorry about that!
Alternately, a self-hosted WordPress.org blog might be worth looking into if you’d like to delve into your theme’s coding and solve the issues you’re having.
