Fix site redirect after expiration…
-
My site redirect expired on March 17, 2015 and I just noticed it and paid to renew it on March 26, 2015 but when I click on Home in my current self hosted site it goes to my old wordpress.com blog. My current self hosted site is http://www.gaiagoodnessnaturalfoods.com. The old site is http://www.gaiagoodnessnaturalfood.wordpress.com. which should redirect users to my current site. Is there a way to fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Just checked out http://gaiagoodnessnaturalfoods.com/ and the reason why “Home” is leading to your old blog is because it’s linking to this URL:
On your self-hosted site, adjust this by going into your Menu settings (most likely here):
http://gaiagoodnessnaturalfoods.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php
And adjust your “Home” menu item to point to gaiagoodnessnaturalfoods.com instead.
Regarding your WordPress.com site, it’s not setup to point to gaiagoodnessnaturalfoods.com at all. It’s found at gaiagoodnessnaturalfood.wordpress.com but also has a domain mapping for tyme2eat.com (just not set as the primary domain.)
It sounds like you want both gaiagoodnessnaturalfood.wordpress.com and tyme2eat.com to point to your new self-hosted site.
I removed the domain mapping for tyme2eat.com and replaced it with a site redirect from gaiagoodnessnaturalfood.wordpress.com to gaiagoodnessnaturalfoods.com — this means that anyone visiting gaiagoodnessnaturalfood.wordpress.com will get redirected to your new site.
Next, you should go to your registrar where you purchased tyme2eat.com and point its name servers to your new self-hosted site to make sure anyone visiting tyme2eat.com also gets redirected there.

Excellent! Thank you so much Alex. Should I ask for a refund for the site re-direct renewal?

You had that tyme2eat.com domain mapping paid through August 17, 2015. The Site Redirect is basically a ‘domain-mapping-in-reverse’ and costs the same amount. So I just setup your site redirect to expire the same date as the domain mapping was — so no new charges, but you’ve owned the upgrade long enough (over 30 days) that I can’t really offer a refund.
But once August 17 comes up, if you prefer to not renew the site redirect it just means gaiagoodnessnaturalfood.wordpress.com will stop redirecting to .gaiagoodnessnaturalfoods.com.
