Fixed page on Baskerville 2 home page

    Hi all. I want to fix the News & Events page on the right-hand sidebar of the home page ofmy new site. This is the page that is going to have daily updates and I’d like visitors to the page to be able to see immediately the latest ‘breaking news’.

    Does this theme support what I’m wanting to do? I thought the answer might lie in the widget area, but the technical side of that is beyond my ability right now. I’d welcome any advice and help.

    Hi there,

    In playing around with Baskerville 2, I don’t see that there’s a way to add a sidebar widget or even a “static” post on the right side of the Home page.

    You can make the Home page a static page, with your posts on another page. That would let your site visitors see the latest news, but they’d have to click through to another page. The “home” page isn’t capable of displaying a sidebar widget but the “pages” are.
