Fixed slim header using Shawburn Theme

    Hi

    Is it possible to have a slim fixed header using Shawburn theme?

    I would like the content of pages to slide underneath the header but can’t work out how to do it.

    If Shawburn can’t do it, is there a theme that does?

    Hi there,

    There is no direct way to set up the Shawburn theme with a different header… typically to do something like that requires hiring a web designer, for example.

    Instead, I would recommend starting with a theme that has a narrow header by default. You can usually find one by searching visually (looking at the example sites) here: https://wordpress.com/themes/.

    For the most part, changing your theme is a lot like changing the clothing on a mannequin. Your content (pages, blog posts, uploaded media) doesn’t go anywhere or change that much… they just assume the style of the new theme.

    So there can be some setup work (your new theme will come with instructions), but you are hardly “starting over.”
