Fixing a confused mixup of sites.

  • Unknown's avatar

In 2017 I tried to set up a web site with WP.org. Did not know there was WP.com. I now am trying to set up dev.will4words.com. User name ssekntAB85. The two sites are mixed together. The only one I am trying to start is wills4words.com. Anything referring to the 2017 attempt should be deleted.
What I want is a simple web site and blog to illustrate how people and words evolve in understanding, and using words. I don’t need a lot of bells and whistles. Just an archive list to the posts and the means of people to contact me. Please help.

  • Hi there,

You’re posting here as the WordPress.com username, sseknt6. This username owns two site: https://jnaent82.wordpress.com/ and https://sseknt6.wordpress.com/

The domain, wills4words.com, has nothing to do with WordPress.com. That domain is registered with Tucows Domains, and hosted by Inmotionhosting.com.

The subdomain, dev.will4words.com, also has nothing to do with WordPress.com – it has never been connected to any site or account with us. That subdomain also does not appear to currently exist, as I can’t find any DNS records for it if I query the subdomain, and I have no way to find out where that subdomain might previously have been hosted. I can only tell you it wasn’t with us, and we’re not able to help you with this at all.

Please contact Inmotionhosting for help with this. If they refer you to “WordPress”, you want the forums for the open source software over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
