Fixing footer bar in Emire theme for IE7

  Hello,

  In IE7 the footer with the credits floats to the right and doesn’t stay at the bottom. Is there any way to fix it, or alternatively, any way to remove it?

  I have fiddled around with this code and tried to fix this on my own, but I can’t figure it out. I have tried all of the fixes detailed in this post:

  and can’t get it to work. The original poster seems to have fixed it, but I can’t see how he did it.

  Is there a way to resolve this?
