fixing old posts, but I don't want them to be reposted
-
I imported my blog in March and all the posts coming from RunnersWorld/Tumbler didn’t import any pictures. That is fine, but I am now going one by one, adding the pictures manually and when I hit Submit, the posts get re-posted (as in, they go to twitter, facebook, sent my email to all the subscribers…). Is there a way to update these old posts without everyone knowing? I don’t want to bother/confuse everyone with old posts…
THANKS!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
I’m working on finding a solution that will work for you. For Twitter, Facebook, etc, you can deactivate per post by using the Publicize options found near the publish button (as seen at http://en.support.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/screen-shot-2012-11-07-at-7-22-03-pm.png ). If you click on Edit, you can uncheck the services that’ll it send on.
if the checkboxes won’t toggle, then that particular post has already been “publicized”. Once a post has been publicized, it won’t re-trigger another publicize action.
For the e-mail followers, I’m researching this further. I haven’t been able to trigger an old, importer post update to send a new e-mail. Typically, updating an older post won’t send out an e-mail, so digging in more.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I’m following your blog now too so if you do edit an old post, I should see the e-mail notification sent out.
