Fixing “Sales disabled” for donation form

    Hello,

    I am experiencing an issue on my website when customers try to make a donation. When a user selects an amount and clicks the “Donate” button, they are redirected to a “Sales disabled” page.

    I have my Stripe account linked, and the payment currency is set to USD. I am unsure whether this issue is coming from WordPress or Stripe, and I need guidance on how to resolve it so that customers can successfully donate.

    Could anyone please advise on the steps to fix this?

    Thank you for reaching out! I can see the same error on my end, sorry about that, I know it must be frustrating. 
     
    The next step is to take a look at your Stripe connection. I know you mentioned that Stripe is connected on your end, but something in the current state suggests the connection either failed or didn’t fully complete. When this happens, reconnecting Stripe usually resolves it.
     
    Could you please try connecting Stripe if it’s not currently connected or disconnecting Stripe and then reconnecting it? You can follow the steps in this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/connect-a-stripe-account/

    You may also want to check your inbox associated with the Stripe account, in case there is some pending actions required from Stripe side, to allow you to start receiving payment.
