Fixing the display in the archives and the categories

I posted this in the Themes section yesterday, but nobody has answered me yet and the thought of people visiting my site and seeing it a mess is driving me crazy!!
Last week I changed themes, and I just now discovered that when I click on my archives or on a category, the ENTIRE post shows up on the page, as opposed to just the post title and a little blurb. I hate this! If this can’t be fixed I will have to change themes, but hopefully there is a quick fix, css or otherwise? Thanks in advance!

Hmmm… I think this is a JavaScript function, not CSS, so I’m not sure you can change it.
