  Can they be embedded into a blog.For instance using a text widget?

  hmmm, I did not ask if I could embed it into posts. I asked if I could embed it into the Text Widget!That is a on the sidebar.

  Actually you asked about putting them into the blog and then used the example of a text widget.

  It’s actually covered in the FAQ at the head of the forums anyway. Object and embed tags are not allowed as those tags are security risks.

  O.k. Thx for answering.personally i do not see the difference between embeding a flash file and a video.Flash files are no more of a security risk than videos.
