Flawless Theme’s stubborn footer content

  I am facing an issue with editing the footer content of my website which is built using the Astra theme.

  The footer currently displays the default demo content (e.g., “Flawless” text and description), but I am unable to update or remove this content from:

  • Customizer → Footer
  • Customizer → Widgets
  • Appearance → Widgets
  • Elementor Editor
  • Theme File Editor (footer.php and related files)
  • Even checking the database did not reveal the text.

  The Widgets section keeps loading infinitely, and no footer widget areas appear. Because of this, I cannot replace the demo content with my own brand details. What I’ve Already Tried:

  • Cleared cache, disabled optimization plugins
  • Deactivated extra plugins
  • Checked footer.php, footer-row.php, builder files
  • Searched for text using String Locator
  • Tried Astra’s Footer Widgets settings
  • Reinstalled Astra theme
  • Even checked database (wp_posts & wp_options)
  • Restored the website from backup to fix UI issues caused by manual edits

  Still, the footer content cannot be edited. Could you please help with:

  1. Why footer widgets are not loading?
  2. Why demo footer content (Flawless) is hard-coded or stuck?
  3. How I can properly replace that footer text with my own content?

  I am using:

  • WordPress: 6.8
  • Theme: Astra (free)
  • Page Builder: Elementor
  • Hosting: Hostinger

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
