Flickr image display on my website

  I used to upload pictures on Flickr and they would automaticly be displayed on my blog, but it doesn’t show anymore. I have tried to renew the link and waited for a few days, but it still doesn’t work.

  Hi there,

  Flickr has recently changed the structure of their RSS feeds a bit. The widget still works, but your Flickr RSS URL may need to be changed.

  Your RSS URL can be found on your photostream on Flickr (not a photo, album, tag, or any other page). Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the RSS icon and “Subscribe to [name]’s photostream.” Right click on either and copy the URL and paste that into the widget’s Flickr RSS URL box.

  Hello amightywp, thank you for your reply, I am affraid the reason why my Flickr photo’s are not showing on my blog anymore, because of the renewed Flickr website, because that was when it started and I tried to repair it. I have allready renewed the link a few times. I have used the latest URL of my photostream.

  You recommand to find the RSS-link. Is it suppose to be different than the latest photostream URL? (I don’t think so, since it says on the wordpress website, you either find the RSS or latest URL of your photostream). But just in case, I wanted to look for the RSS; with the new lay-out that is nowhere to be found. I scrolled down to see nothing related to links, sharing or following.

  I strongly doubt the cause of the problem is the URL I am using to connect my widget to Flickr. Anyone else who might know what the problem is?

  Hey there,

  I’m so sorry, it looks like the folks at Flickr have changed things around a bit yet again, which threw me off.

  So in order to get your RSS feed NOW, what you’ll need to do is make sure you’re logged in to your account and when you’re looking at your Photostream, you’ll see a few menu options across the top. Click on Edit. On this page you’ll see your photostream images listed. Scroll on down past them and on the left you’ll see an RSS icon and it’ll say “Subscribe to (your name here)’s photostream”. Go ahead and right click on that RSS icon, save the link location, and then paste it in your Flickr widget here at WordPress.com and click Save. You’ll be all done! :)
