Flickr links no longer displaying as photo in post
-
In the past I was able to put a link to a photo on Flickr as it’s own line in a post, and the picture would display in place of the link when the post was viewed. When I create posts now, the link itself displays when the post is viewed instead of the photo. This means that visitors must click a link to view a photo instead of being able to view the image directly in the post. Does anybody know why this doesn’t work anymore?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Flickr changed the way they configure their links. Now you’ll need to use the embed code or download the image and upload it to the blog.

Thanks for the help. I still can’t get it to work. I’m using my own images from Flickr because I don’t want to have to upload everything to WordPress. I can’t figure out how to use the embed code, I’ve tried all the codes from Flickr, but nothing displays properly, they all just show up as a link/code in the final post. What embed code do I use?

And I figured it out with a lot more Googling, after you got me on the right track. Thanks again!

@galois That is exactly what I used to do, and it no longer works. You can put the link in this code now to achieve the same thing: [embed]yourlinkehere[/embed]
Or you can use the “add media” button in the editor, and then use the “insert from url option,” which will automatically write that above piece of code for you.
