Flickr Photos transfered to Word Press Media Library
-
Hi! I am wanting to collect some work related photos for a photo gallery on a photo gallery page that I have created in WP. So far, I can only figure out how to POST them to my Blog Page from Flickr. Is there a way to instead of having them POST, that they would go to my Media Library for organizing into a group for PAGE POSTING?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only way images can be placed in your WordPress.com blog’s Media Library is by uploading them into it ie. uploading them onto WordPress.com servers. There is no ability to create folders to organize image files in your Media Library.

As tt said, there is no way to automatically upload your flickr photos to your WordPress.com site’s Media Library.
However, you *can* use your flickr photos in your Posts and Pages, but it would be a 2-step process.
Once you’ve uploaded your images to flickr, as long as they are “public” you can then embed them in your WordPress.com site following these instructions from the flickr FAQ for grabbing the HTML code http://www.flickr.com/help/sharing/#17025585
Just be aware of the flickr image sizes available and that they are not too large for your site’s content posting area.
