flickr pictures not showing on my blog

  My photos from flickr set are not showing on my blog – any ideas?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That is a tough one. Before anyone asks, her blog is at http://alicepohl.wordpress.com/

  I looked at the source of the HTML page and the URLs of the photos are correct as they bring you to the flickr photo. Looking at this more now.

  I’ve had this happen in the past and after a while the images show up. You can also try removing the widget to the “inactive widgets” area at the bottom of the widgets page, and then putting it back in. That has worked in some cases as well.

  I don’t see the flickr widget at this blog, http://alicepohl.wordpress.com/ , are you talking about a different blog?

  I’m using a wordpress free template which supposedly has a working flickr widget which I’ve applied to my website- see flickr photos, right hand side … can you see it?

  If you go here, you can see the feed for your flickr account at the top of my right hand sidebar: http://opposablethumbz.wordpress.com/ . I even changed to the theme you are using.

  This is what I put into the flickr widget for the “flickr RSS URL”: http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?id=40321036@N03&lang=en-us&format=rss_200

  If what you have in your widget matches that URL, then all I can do is to suggest that you contact support at http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

  I there, I also have the same problem, I’m usign DePo Masthead and the pictures don’t appear althought I follow all the steps…

  It can take a while for the images to show up in my experience. I would wait a couple hours and then drag the widget to the “inactive widgets” section at the bottom of the widgets page, log out clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then add the widget back in.

  Some browsers hang on to cached pages tenaciously and it takes a complete clearing of the cache, restart and reload for the images to show up.
