[Flickr video=…] not working

  I have the same issue, the flickr video only works in my blog when I embed the URL through ‘Add Media’. I just get a black box when using [flickr video=...] code which means I can’t customise it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The issue in the thread you shared ended up being specific to the video being shared, so it won’t help us as much as we’d like. I’ll keep testing, but in the mean time you can use the embed shortcode instead.

  [embed width="123"]video link [/embed]

  You can add the same customizations to the embed code that you’d use with the Flickr code.

  @lizthefair- I set up a test post earlier and here are my results:

  oembed (plain URL of the video on flickr): works
  insert by URL, which results in the embed tags: works
  shortcode flickr video=: doesn’t work

  Good to know that it is possible to customize the embed code.

  Thanks for that. The “width” customisation worked but show_info=no (also tried show_info=”no”) didn’t work for me:
  [embed show_info="no"] URL [/embed]

  However, I have also just discovered that Flickr only allows a maximum of 3 minutes when you upload videos so may not be the one to use for longer videos…
