Add topic to favorites
added the correct rss link… HOWEVER photos are not updating on my blog with the latest photos in my Flickr feed.

i have removed the widget twice and added it back twice. and same problem. added new photos in Flickr and still not updating on blog.

help!

thanks but i DID do that… i read the directions

its its correct FEED but the PHOTOS are not updating, the photos on the blog are a week or so old. not the current latest photos on the flickr feed.

Does it show up on your Flickr account separate from WordPress?
Have you cleared your cache?

well that is not right
something is wrong

i have posted on Flickr forum to get them to help

when i view my public photos at Flickr the three photos you refer to are weeks old. and there are many many more recent photos MARKED PUBLIC that are showing up.

can you check by just going to sogalitno at flickr and see if you see most recent photos of lilies?

Yesterday the latest pictures here were two similar pictures of leaves:

Today the latest two are similar pictures of lilies. I also see those on your site. Hope that helps!

well it was better yesterday and last night. finally they photos synched or whatever.

however this morning i uploaded photos to FLICKR and made them public . and of course they flickr feed on wordpress has not picked them up.

how often does the widget check flickr?
i cleared cache and refreshed page.

further… if you click on the lilies photo on my blog, it takes you to that photo in Flickr and if you go to photostream… you will see that the lily photo is not the most recent. you can scroll up to the top to see the photos that have been added on flickr since that lily photo.

so something is going on with the updating of the feed on wordpress.

There may be some delay due to caching, and caching can happen anywhere to improve speed: on your own computer, at the ISP, at WordPress, and possibly even in Flickr’s feeds. Basically caching works by “storing” some information for a while (anywhere from a few minutes to several days or more) instead of constantly checking and re-checking. Cache helps make the internet fast enough to be enjoyable.

I checked your site again just now, though, and the photos there match what I see on your Flickr page. Here is a screenshot:

All three times I’ve simultaneously checked your site and your flickr page, all of the photos are up to date. So you may just having some extra caching happening with your internet or computer settings. In any case, the images do update. I hope that helps.
