Title says it all, how can I get my flickr widget to display?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
The theme on the blog linked to your username is Twenty Eleven. Please read this article so you are clear on how the theme is coded to operate. Note that there is no sidebar on single posts when displayed on their own page in Twenty Eleven. -
Hi, I understand that, but when I view the main page (not single posts) there is still no flickr sidebar. I return to the appearance menu to check on the facebook widget, and sure enough i need to drag it back to the main sidebar.

Hello again,
Flickr Widget > Did you follow all of these instructions > Widgets » Flickr Widget1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.
2. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
3.Which browser and version of it are you using?
4. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
5. Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here.
http://browsehappy.com/6. Do you have third party cookies enabled?
7. Do you have JavaScript enabled?
8. Do you have another browser you can try?
-
I also note that you are copying and pasting text. If you do that without using either icon 5 or icon 6 in Row 2 of the visual editor, you will eventually experience problems. Please see here so you know how to do this correctly in the future. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text
Also go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”

I don’t see the flickr widget in your sidebar on this site: http://onetwistedpoet.wordpress.com/ .
In my experience it can take several hours for the images to show up in the flickr widget. Not sure who is responsible for that delay, but that has been my experience.

Hey thanks for the strong support!
Good catch on the C&P, much appreciated.I am connected through a pretty solid DSLR connection. I’ve tried several times and can’t quite hack it though, it just keeps getting “reset” to the available widgets box. Still has all the settings when I drag it over, though. Checked the widget walkthrough and it pretty much says drag it over, click save. I even get the little “saving” loader circle when I do it.
I use the HTTP, but it’s good to know about HTTPS. I’m using IE7, and all settings are right. I’ll try from firefox.
Strange about the delay, but still doesn’t seem to be the issue. My shots are all public, weird little bug here…

Yeah so after clicking save I just went to Theme Options and when I returned to widgets Flickr was back out of use.

That should be the right one, no?

Flickr RSS URL – The RSS feed URL for your account on Flickr. Visit your photostream on Flickr (not a photo, album, tag, or any other page), scroll down to the bottom until you see the RSS icon or the Latest link (see below). Right click on it and copy the URL (link location). Paste it into this box. Note that if the RSS field is left blank, the widget displays photos from the public feed at http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/flickr-widget/
P.S. I don’t see the Flickr widget on the blog linked to your username. Is that the blog in question or not?
-
Hi,
Yeah that’s the blog, and the problem is that it won’t show.
I’m pretty sure that I’ve got the right RSS, I’m using http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?id=56138524@N06&lang=en-us&format=rss_200for this photostream:
