flickr widget not updating photos

  I’ve looked through so many threads and nothing has worked.

  I’m using the flickr (screen name: simplythewildside) widget for my wordpress (www.simplythewildside.wordpress.com) account. The issue is that the pictures i’m uploading onto flickr are not updating onto my blog. i have everything set to ‘safe’ and ‘public’ on flickr. it is only showing the pictures i had on when i pasted the RSS URL into the widget but anything i’ve uploaded to flickr after that does not refresh onto the blog. please help!

  UPDATE: checked the blog a few hours later and they show up…so there is a huge lag. anyone else deal with this issue?

  I just looked to see if anyone else was having this problem. I appear to be having the same delay–at least I hope I am, as my photos have not updated yet….

  Mine are delayed a few hours. Not sure how to fix it but they eventually appear.

  There is no fix per se. It takes time for cached images to be displayed and Flickr is a busy site.
