Floating Ad Showing Up On My Blog

    In the last week when I open my blog, I get a floating ad at the top of my page. I have a paid domain. When did these ads start appearing and how do I get rid of them? I was under the impression that ads didn’t appear on paid domain blogs.

    When you buy a custom domain, what you get is a custom domain. Nothing at all other than the URL changes. If you want no ads, buy the No Ads upgrade.

    There are no pop-up ads on WordPress.com blogs, though. Sounds like you have malware on your browser. Disable all your browser extensions, then re-enable them one by one to find the culprit. Once you’ve found it, delete it.

    Thanks for the info. I don’t have any browser extensions and it only shows up on my blog – no other pages. I just did a deep scan on my computer yesterday, then the ad popped up again today. I guess I’ll do it again.
