Flood of spam comments

  Is something going on I should know about? I’ve gotten a years worth of comments tonight–and they are all misspelled, ungrammatical idiocy obviously from bots.

  Is there some kind of attack on WordPress happening? Can I expect it to stop soon? My mailbox is getting full of requests to moderate, and I have to delete all these fake comments.

  Do not delete them from your mailbox, but mark them as spam in your website. Doing so, Akismet will learn more about spam, https://akismet.com
