  how do i contact my subscribers to my wordpress.com blog. I am moving away from wordpress.com and hosting the blog privately. I wish to send a mail to my followers to let them know. I can’t find a way.

  You can publish a post on your blog providing your current subscribers with notice that you are moving and where you are moving to. As your email subscribers will automatically receive all published posts that will address your issue.
