Flounder theme: screen image

Have look at this site
When I view the site on my desktop screen the Serch box and the Company information on the About page appear under the menu. When my son views the site on his laptop they appear to be in the right sidebar?
Why is this?
Thanks

This is how your About page looks in Firefox 28 for Mac:

It looks like there are some display issues with the right sidebar in IE10 and IE11- the issues are the same with the Flounder demo site.
I’ll report this to our developers so they can have a look, thanks for letting us know.

Hi Kathryn, thanks for the reply. I’ve opened my son’s site in Firefox 28 on my Windows based PC and the same thing happens ie the Search box and the Company information on the About page appear under the menu so I don’t think it’s an IE problem. Could it have something to do with the fact that the design is a responsive design and my son and I are viewing at different screen resolutions?
Thanks again

Possibly, although when I tested the site in IE10 here at a high resolution the right sidebar moved to the left, which it shouldn’t have. I have put in a bug report for the issue so our developers can look at it.
What resolution is your PC set to? You can check it easily by visiting this page:
Is your browser window set smaller than your full screen?

Hi Kathryn. My screen resolution is set at its maximum which is 1280×1024. As I said I get the same problem no matter what browser I use? The browser is set to full screen.
Thanks

Howdy Tony,
It looks like Flounder was designed to display the right sidebar only at resolutions greater than 1300px. I’ve made a small tweak to the theme such that it will display the right sidebar at 1280px x 1024px — it’s a bit tight, but it should work now.
Cheers,
