Hi there!
I have tried embedding the code on my test sites and it does not render on any of them so it looks like it’s not correct. Are sure you’re pasting the entire code?
Also, remember that some types of code (like JavaScript) would need plan Business plan to be displayed correctly:

To further troubleshoot this you may reach out via Live Chat directly from https://wordpress.com/help/contact.

Hi there,
I got the html code from here: https://flourish.studio/covid/ and it worked when I pressed preview but when I publish the html does not work.
Same happened when I copied and pasted the html code from Mailchimp to add the subscription at the end of the blog.
Both are HTML tags, so they should work with premium.
Please help!
Best wishes,
Marwan -
Hi Marwan,
The flourish code contains JavaScript. JavaScript is not allowed on WordPress.com for security reasons, and will get stripped out of your post every time you update it. The premium plan does not give you the ability to use JavaScript. You need the Business Plan for that.
The Mailchimp form would use
formtags, which likewise are not allowed on WordPress.com. If you want to embed a Mailchimp signup form on your site, the only way to do that is via our Mailchimp block:
