Hi!

Yes, Automattic is the company that hosts all of the WordPress.Com content.

The answers to cached deleted files is found in:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/media/deleting-files/The short answer is:
- Currently, the direct web addresses to the files might continue to work for up to a few days, as they are cached.
- The amount of free space in your blog may not change for a few minutes, so please be patient.
- The amount of space freed may not drop until 500kb of images has been deleted. (1% of the 50mb is 500kb)
- Images (and other media) that you delete from WordPress.com still may be cached by search engines. In those cases, you should contact the search engine directly to find out how to remove the images from their servers.
Deleting posts and pages is slightly different than media files! In:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleted-posts-and-pages/it tells us:
The Trash feature allows you to remove items without permanently deleting them. If you have previously moved an item to your trash folder, you can restore it within 30 days from the time the item was trashed. After 30 days the posts in trash will be automatically permanently deleted.
If you want to permanently delete a post or page:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#permanently-deleting-a-post-or-pageTo permanently delete a post or page you will need to enter your Trash status/queue and place your cursor over any item you wish to delete forever. You will see two linked options: Restore and Delete Permanently. Click on the Delete Permanently link
Hope that helps!

Hi,
I removed the PDF file (https://sparsitysite.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/informasyon-teorisi.pdf) from my free version blog media tab a week ago. However it is still available on internet. I used the google “remove outdated content” tool. The tool analyzes the URL and it warns me that
“”
The URL you want to remove is:
https://sparsitysite.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/informasyon-teorisi.pdf
We think the web page you’re trying to remove hasn’t been removed by the site owner.
Before Google can remove it from our search results, the site owner needs to take down or update the content.
Has the web page been updated or removed at source website?””everytime.
Is there a way flushing the cache on wordpress server?

Hi again
Is there a way flushing the cache on wordpress server?
I do not know the answer to this. I would like to know as well!
However, in your reply, you quoted:
Before Google can remove it from our search results, the site owner needs to take down or update the content.
If we take Google’s word, you should be able to change the content of the file and the new version should be the one that appears – overwrite the file you do not like with new content!
best,

Hi! We do cache files across our file servers, and that cache clears automatically. We can clear it manually if something seems stuck, so I’ve done that here. Cheers!

Hi,
Thanks supernovia. It’s done. I think wordpress add a button or tool flushing cache for free version users.
Finally, supernovia if you clear below link cache then i will change topic situation to resolved situation. Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback. Flushing is automated so in most cases there would be no need for users to do it, and too much flushing could cause issues.
About https://derinistihbarat.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/telefon-kayc4b1tlarc4b1.pdf – that file is not deleted, and it is owned by another user.
