folder write permissions on Synology with Apache 2.4
-
In order to run WordPress on Synology/Apache I am required to give R/W permissions to the Synology system account called “http”. Is this the same account that Apache uses when public users access the site? This seems like a risky thing to do. Do I need to worry about this? Other than keeping the underlying components patched, are there any configuration changes I can implement to mitigate risk?
Thanks,
