Folding blogposts

I can not fint any function for folding blogposts on the front page, all posts are viewed in their full length. I Write rather long blogposts Without much photos and I also have a sticky post that is VERY long since I mostly post all my articles in both Norwegian and English in the same post. Showing all blog posts in full length is hopeless.

I use Yoko Theme. I like Yoko theme. In Europe there will soon come a New Law that regulates availability to those having problem seeing. Among other things the Law say ALL the links must be blue and underlined, text must be easy to read With dark against light background. It is no longer allowed to have really light grey for example. So I have been looking for a theme that fullfill these New rules and closest I come is Yoko Theme.

But I can not find any function in the WordPress Control panel allowing me to fold the posts so they show as Shorter, giving the Reader a tease and possibility to click on a Read more link to view the Whole post on a New page. I want this in the Control panel.

I would also very much like if one photo on the blogpost is visible in the folded post in a smaller preset size. I have used WordPress for a long time, and before it was possible to fold the blogposts, It seem to have been gone? I need all posts to be folded even surfing on a computer, not only on mobile and tab.

Because of such laws coming in Europe (I live in Norway) it would be preferable to be able to darker the text from grey to black, make all the links blue and underlined, being able to adjust light colors to dark in areas breaking the law, and being able to fold the blogposts as I told above. This must be implemented in the free Versions too. One must be able to overhold the Law.

I look forward to some changes, folding and availability.

    Thank you.

I think what you’re calling “folding” we call truncate, and you can use the More Tag for the desired effect.

You can truncate your blog entries so that only the first part of certain posts is displayed on the home and archive pages.
