I see two solutions:
– You may modify the CSS for your theme via the Custom Design, which enables you to personalize your blog’s look. It is a feature of the WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business plans:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/– The other thing you can do instead is to review the WordPress.com themes listed at the http://theme.wordpress.com/ showcase site.
To preview a theme before activating, go to My Sites → Themes. Click on the three dots to the right of the theme’s name and then click on Preview.
This action takes you to the Customizer, which will show you a live preview of the theme with your content. It’s a great way to test drive a theme if you already have content on your site.
You can scroll up and down and even click around in your blog to get an idea of how the new theme will work with your content. If you like what you see, click the Save & Activate or Purchase button in the top left corner of the Customizer window. Click the X found in the top left corner of the Customizer window to back out.
