Follow Blog By Email Widget is not working. The blogger trying to follow my blog who brought this to my attention is not receiving the confirmation of subscription email. She’s tried subscribing twice. I’ve tried to subscribe her once. Suggestions?

Sorry you’re having trouble with that. Can you let me know what email address that blogger is trying to subscribe with? I can take a look at it on our end to see why it’s not working for her.

Thank you for your response. I shouldn’t put a subscriber’s email address in a public forum, should I? I feel uncomfortable with that. Is there another option? If not, I will ask this person’s permission first.

You can enter the email address here, and it will be automatically hidden from view — visitors to the forum won’t be able to see it. Only the support staff (like me) will be able to see it. Sorry for not explaining that earlier!

Thanks! I checked that email address in our system, and she’s blocking emails from WordPress.com, which is why she doesn’t get the email from us.
She can unblock emails by logging in to her WordPress.com account and unchecking the “Block Emails” option in her Notification Settings: https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
