'Follow Blog' Widget

I’m using the ‘Follow Blog’ widget on my site <www.adozennothing.com>. I’m glad for the widget; however, I’d like it only to send out a notification for each new post, rather than sending the entire text of each new post. The problems are that, first of all, I’d prefer that users click over to the site to read new posts; and, second, the e-mails generated by the ‘Follow Blog’ widget don’t utilize the custom CSS for my site, so the e-mails it sends are a mess visually. Is there a way to use the ‘Follow Blog’ widget to send only an e-mail notification for each new post, rather than sending the entirety of each new post? Thanks for your help!!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can control the length of the entry sent out on your RSS feed here Dashboard > Settings > Reading. Choose the “summary” setting for your RSS feed rather than to “full text”. That will compel followers who are not using mobiles to click into the blog to read the full post which will create a page view stat.

    Timethief,
Thank you! I never knew before what that selector was referring to. I just reset it according to your instructions, and will see if it works when my next post goes live.
    Thanks again!
