  I’m trying to add a simple follow blog widget to my page but it’s not showing up in my available widgets.

  Hi there,

  Is the site you are referring to on WordPress.com or is it a self hosted site?
  It’s always helpful to let us know the site URL in question.
  If you are on a site hosted at WordPress.com, it should be in the widgets section.

  If you are on a self-hosted site, you would need a plugin like Jetpack. You can get more information on that here:
