Follow Blog Widget

  I see the follow blog widget.

  What i want to do is to send a once weekly, Monday digest of the previous week’s posts.

  I produce 10-20 posts a week so the ‘follow blog’ widget would send out too many notifications if i understand it properly.

  how can i simply add such functionality to a right-hand menu bar

  It sounds like you’d like to send out a newsletter. For that, you can use a service like MailChimp:
