follow blog widget

  I cannot remove this widget from my blog and my readers complain that the widget floats around and blocks the text, making it impossible to read. I’ve now tested this on a Windows phone, an iphone, and an android phone.

  I did not add that widget – in fact have tried repeatedly for weeks to remove it – it’s embarrassing because it looks like a sales pitch, and, I have very few followers of the blog since I send a newsletter with the same content, so the small number of followers looks just plain silly.

  How do I get rid of the thing?

  What’s you’re referring to is not exactly a widget.

  You can remove it by unchecking “Show follow button to logged out users.” at Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard.
