follow blog widget: "amazing people"

Hi there,
Same problem as rosaconradmusic https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/my-followers-dont-like-being-told-that-theyre-amazing-people-1?replies=2
There’s no answer and it seems she’s asked for a snapshot of the widget. Here it goes:
<img src=”https://farmacon.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/sin-tc3adtulo.png”>
It’s in spanish. I’d like to delete “amazing people” or “personas increíbles”. It sounds absurd.
Cheers.

Hi there! Thanks for the screenshot. That text is not editable, but I would love more information about why the language is troubling for you.
I imagine this may be a cultural difference. In the US being an ‘amazing person’ generally means being awesome, cool, or someone that you’re thankful of. I’d love to understand better so I can make a case for that text being changed (or even editable) in the future.

Hi,
My blog is a peculiar one. It’s about Philosophy and Aesthetics. People into these matters would consider “amazing people” too “poppy” or “too kitsch”. My kind of reader would like a more “minimal” text. In fact it would be perfect if I could simply delete the “amazing” word. The rest is fine.
I hope you have been able to understand me, albeit my rusty english.
Cheers
