Follow Blog widget does not appear on footer

I have added the Follow Blog widget to the footer but does not appear on blog
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you see the widget in the footer area?
When I tried the Follow with Email the first time it for some reason did not want to work. After fiddling around then adding a different widget the two follow buttons worked. All I can suggest is to try another widget and see if that works, then try the follow widgets again.
I will flag this for the staff in case there is something strange about your site

The Facebook widget worked only on the footer but not on the sidebar. I added the two follow widgets none of which seem to appear on the footer. I tried several times hoping they would. Thank you for your kind assistance.

Hi there,
It looks like there was a glitch with the widget. Sorry about that! I deleted the Follow Blog widget from your footer and then re-added it, and I see it in the footer now.

Thank you for fixing this so quickly! One question I have is whether this theme allows only footer widgets? I tried to insert Recent Posts on the sidebar which did not work.Btw, I like the title “Happiness Engineer” :)

The Blissful Blog theme does have space for sidebar widgets, but that sidebar doesn’t appear everywhere in the theme. You can see the sidebar on single pages, archive, and search views.

Interesting – when I tried to add the Follow Widget the first time it also did not work but did later after I had tried a couple of other Widgets and maybe deleted the Follow Widget in the process

Huh, that’s odd. It worked for me right away, so I’m not sure what was going on when you tried it. Hopefully just a temporary glitch. :)
