Follow Blog Widget: "You are following this blog" text, how to change?
-
After a logged in user follows my blog how can I get the text that says “You are following this blog” to say something different such as “You’re subscribed”
It has these settings:
Optional text to display to logged in WordPress.com users:
Optional text to display to non-WordPress.com users:
But I don’t think either of these work for that specifically.
Note: I’ve been able to change this before, but forgot…
Again, I’m trying to get the “You are following this blog” text to change.
Thanks, you’re what makes this community great.

Hi there. It doesn’t show in the support doc, but if you go to Appearance ->Widgets in the WP-Admin dashboard and expand the Follow Blog widget, there’s a field, “Widget title for followers: ” You can change it there.

Thanks, Kokkieh.
It seems that just changes the title, not the text reading “You are following this blog” below it.

I see what you mean. In that case, the only way you’ll be able to change that text is to edit the theme’s CSS, for which you’ll need the Custom Design upgrade.
You can post your question in the CSS customisation forum for info on what code will be needed to make this change:
