Follow box

  Follow doesn’t always appear in lower right. Only a black bar, which if clicked brings up the Follow box, but viewers don’t know that. Perhaps Follow could be added to the top line after About and replace the present method. Can you do this for me.

  Can you please let me know the specific browser and version where you don’t see the follow button at the bottom?

  My browser is Internet Explorer, a version that came several years ago with Windows XP. My husband has a similar browser and similar problem with Follow. A friend couldn’t get Follow. I don’t know his browser but probably a later version. Could I add Follow next to About at the top header? I wouldn’t want it on a footer. Could it be on the sidebar not too far down? If so, how would I get rid of the pop-up Follow. My theme is Yoko customized.

  Hi Carlee – It sounds like those are versions of Internet Explorer earlier than version 9, which we do not support. Instead, we recommend that you use Firefox or Chrome. But yes, you can add the Follow Blog widget anywhere in your sidebar so that it’s more obvious how to follow your site.

  Just uncheck “Show follow button to logged out users.” and save. Or, you could leave it for those users who can see it, and also add the Follow Blog widget to your sidebar.
