follow button

Hi There, Can someone tell me how to create a follow button on my blog or is it supposed to just be there and I can’t see it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

woops..did not see twitter on your post. Ignore that then. For a blog follow button, for wordpress users it’s on the dasboard grey bar. For non wordpress users, you can add a email subscription widget.

Hi, Thanks for your help. I am a bit slow at this so please bear with me! :)
I did see the follow button on the dashboard but I think on the actual blog there is no ‘follow’ button. Would you mind looking at me blog and seeing if there is one there? -
WordPress does not provide a follow button on the actual blog. A blog subscription widget is just the same.

Hi Willow,
Yup, your follow button is visible on the dashboard bar for logged in WordPress users – I can see it just fine!
If you want to be sure that non-WordPress users can follow your blog easily as well, you can add both the Blog Subscriptions widget and RSS Feeds widget – these allow your readers to follow your blog via email and RSS, respectively. You can find both of these widgets under the “Widgets” tab in the “Appearances” section of your left dashboard sidebar.
Happy blogging!

Suzanne would you mind checking again to see that I have done the rss feed correctly? I named it follow but not sure if that is right and also when i clicked on it I got a heap of text. :)

Hi Willow,
You did the RSS feed just right! Now users can use that to subscribe to either your posts and/or your comments. If you’re using Google Chrome, it doesn’t natively support RSS (without adding a Chrome RSS extension), which is why you would just get a heap of text when you click on it. It looks fine on all other browsers. :)
