Follow Button

Is there a way to embed a follow button on my blog without using the standard widget?

I’m not a fan of either the standard floating follow button, or the way the follow widget appears on my blog if I activate it. I’m open to ways in which to achieve this:

    1. Add a link to the main menu of my blog that appears at the top of every page, that sends users to a page where they can subscribe.

    2. Add some HTML code to every blog post that makes the follow button appear at the bottom of written text.

Can this be done? (now I’m thinking about this, it may not be a CSS question at all – apologies if so).

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Just to add to this, I’ve looked at this page:

    https://developer.wordpress.com/docs/follow-button-creation/

Which would be a great solution, but I can’t see a way to add this button to my own blog pages?

Hi, the code from developer.wordpress.com contains javascript, and we cannot use javascript at WordPress.com for security reasons. It would also take javascript in order to add the buttons to posts or pages, or to the menu, so that isn’t an option.

Wish I had some other option for you, but at this time the floating follow button, or the follow widget are all we have.
