Follow button isn't showing up/can't log into WordPress

Hi WordPress.com! So I have two problems: when I went to https://developer.wordpress.com/docs/follow-button-creation/ to create my follow button for my self-hosted .org site, it keeps showing up as text. Also, when I go to WordPress.org, and press ‘log in’, when I put in my account information, it says I put in the wrong username or password, but I tried multiple times already. I posted this problem on the .com forum because I can’t post a forum on .org. Can anyone help me?

You just need to register for an account on the WordPress.org support site and then login with that. This is separate from the login you use to manage your self-hosted blog.
If your blog was on WordPress.com then the same login would work for your blog and these support forums, but for WordPress.org they are entirely separate.
