Follow button missing?
-
It’s my understanding that a “follow” button should be located at the bottom right hand corner of each post. I am not seeing it, which may explain why I’ve been low on new followers.
Can some of you look at the page and tell me if you see it, and if not offer some help!?
I know I can work on adding a widget to my page, but I’d prefer just this default button if at all possible.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@lifedrawingplus seems like you got it fixed. How did you manage that? I have the same issue.

i didn’t solve it. my life drawing site always had the follow button as default. i never did anything to get that button. my qigong site hasn’t it: https://qigongmanchester.wordpress.com/ which makes me think that depends on the wordpress theme you use. could be that possible?I don’t know _à

I have two blogs with the same theme and the main blog does not have the button. So, I don’t think that’s the reason for it.

Turns out if you have only one post the follow button does not show up. Post another one and you should get it!

Hi there,
The follow option in the action bar is automatically hidden on sites that don’t have any posts published. This is so that more traditional websites using only pages don’t show a follow button that doesn’t do anything.
The moment you start publishing more public posts on your site that option will activate automatically.
