follow button not on mobile

I recently started a blog, and the follow button does appear on a computer screen and I have had people start following my blog, however, you can’t see a follow button anywhere if someone looks at my blog on their mobile phone. I have several people who want to follow my blog that can’t see how to follow from their phone. I have read through a lot of the help sections on wordpress.com but can’t find a specific answer for this and I am not familiar with the lingo (widgets, plug ins etc).
My blog is journeytosimpleliving.wordpress.com if you want to try on your phone and give feedback. The share buttons are there, just not the follow button.

I am experiencing exactly the same problem.people are telling me that when logging in via a computer they can follow but not on their phones.
I have downloaded the code and added the URL to the bottom of my post but this is not helping?please help,my blog is

@vinnyandemily: I am not certain what the issue is for people to follow your blog. I see the follow button on my phone. Someone does have to scroll to the bottom of the mobile layout to see it.
@eloisewilliams2015: Adding the code like you did just displays that code as regular text (as you can see on your site now). You should add the “Follow Blog” widget to your sidebar, under Appearance -> Widgets.

Thank you for that.i have now installed the widget but am being told that when people press follow on their phones wordpress is asking them to sign up with a website?but if they press it on the computer it lets them put their email address in and follow normally?

If people are clicking the little blue Follow button with the WordPress W, they will be prompted to login to WordPress.com. However, below that on your mobile site there is a prompt to enter their email address and follow that way. Personally, I recommend following through WordPress.com whenever possible. This allows you to track all your followed blogs through one great site, the WordPress Reader.

I was able to get people to follow by going to “WP Admin” from my account page. Then, from there, go to “appearance”, then to “widgets”. Under widgets, there is one that says “Follow Blog”. I just followed the prompts….I’m terrible at understanding all this so I literally just did what was already there without changing any of the wording. I just used the suggested wording they already had in place. I’ve had people signing up today. People can now sign up for mine on either computer or mobile phone. I did, however, have someone comment that they can’t do it from a tablet, and I haven’t had time to look at that yet. Sorry it took me some time to reply. I haven’t been home until now :)

PS, I hope your blog is successful. It sounds like it will be very helpful to others. If you find any new info out on the following, I’m open ears! I’m just learning all the terminology like widgets, plug ins, etc.
